The 6th (and final!) Annual Raiders Remember Scholarship is here!
The Raiders Remember Scholarship Fund was established in 2014 as a result of the Raiders Remember Farewell Event for the former Somerset High School building, looking forward to new beginnings and the future of Somerset Berkley Regional High School. The success of the event has made it such that we have built a perpetuating foundation that gives back to Somerset, including scholarships to graduates of SBRHS attending accredited two or four-year, degree-granting colleges or universities, including vocational, and technical colleges. We are very proud to award our 2nd group of scholarships this year.
Raiders Remember was founded on a set of core values: loyalty, leadership, legacy, community, extra curricular involvement, personality and presentation. We strongly believe that the award winners exemplify the Raider spirit. We truly believe they ultimately will preserve the Raiders Remember culture and core values.
RAIDERS REMEMBER SCHOLARSHIP
DUE IN GUIDANCE Friday, May 28, 2021
This scholarship will be awarded to two (2) current academically eligible SBRHS Seniors, in the amount of $2,500 (each) and one (1) Honorable Mention in the amount of $1,000, based on scholastic ability, character, and extracurricular activities. Applicants must be accepted into a two (2) or four (4) year, degree-granting college or university, including vocational, and technical colleges, accredited by the Massachusetts Department of Higher Education or corresponding agencies of other states.
Criteria: In order to apply for this scholarship, a student must be a current SBRHS Senior in good academic standing, complete the application, and compose the assigned essay. Finalists will be required to complete a personal interview.
